The Nappy Collective is an organisation that do two drives a year to collect Nappies to then be distributed within the local community to families who need it most. The nappies collected are distributed to local organisations within each collective city that support families in crisis or in need such as women’s crisis shelters and refuges, mothers facing homelessness, parenting support organisations and community organisations. During October 14-28, two boxes were on display at Jam Packed for customers to donate disposable nappies, which we managed to fill. The Henry Jones Housekeeping team also donated all their tips for the month of October to buy boxes of nappies which led to 300 nappies being purchased. Dana Clemow did some amazing social media posts which got really great attention from our customers and staff. The Mercury did a piece on the initiative and listed Jam Packed as a collection point.
